the website of the Veselka Foundation. Ukrainian for "Rainbow," Veselka is a non-profit charitable organization focusing on
improving medical care in Ukraine. With a primary focus on
dermatology, the care of skin diseases, Veselka makes use of the excellent
medical resources available in the United States. |

Since its founding in 1999, Veselka has delivered over
$200,000 worth of medical supplies to clinics in Ukraine. Other
activities include on site teaching in Ukraine, hosting Ukrainian
dermatologists in medical offices here in the U.S., and sponsoring
Ukrainian dermatologists to attend educational conferences in the U.S. and
Europe. |
